If Only He Had A Brain Cell


So this man said he had travelled 100 miles, whilst under lockdown, ‘for a McDonald’s’

He travelled over 100 miles to a town that does not have a McDonald’s !!!

Not only that, police discovered there was no valid insurance in place. This meant his vehicle was not legally on the road.

As a result his car was confiscated.

The man was fined £200 for his “flagrant breach” of lockdown regulations, making an unnecessary journey away from his home area.

In addition to the loss of his vehicle, presumably he also incurred the cost of getting back home.

Had this guy had at least a single brain cell he would not have brought himself to the attention of the police.

He deserves the full weight of the law.

And About Time Too

About time, this action is long overdue.

Our borders have been about as effective as a sieve. With checks being applied too late, and without a fully functional track and trace process, we have allowed visitors to the UK free rein.

It’s no wonder that we find ourselves in this state.

If there is a need ? Where does the bloody “if” come from ?

Of course there is a need. Has he not seen the news. The numbers of sick and dying increasing. The NHS bordering on collapse.

Surely the default should have been a steady increase of vaccinations to match the availability. Then steadily increasing to 24/7 provision until this pandemic is quashed.

The more people vaccinated will surely help alleviate the NHS overload.

I don’t understand our governments “softly softly” approach to everything to do with this pandemic. Slow to the harsher tiers, slow to full lock down, slow to hard border controls. And why so slow to enforcement ?

We should be giving vaccinations 24/7 now !!!

The Lowest of the Low


A Fraudster has injected a 92-year-old woman with an unknown substance claiming it to be a coronavirus vaccine.

He then charged her £160 telling her she could claim it back.

This scum is the lowest of the low and this was assault, pure and simple.

Preying on the old and vulnerable members of our society. Especially when peoples fears are at their highest given the current death and virus transmission rates.

Knowing there are people like this out there will do little for peoples confidence. A sick individual, product of a sick society.

Should he be caught I think he should be injected with Covid-19 to give him a taste of the fear many of us are feeling at the moment. Let him take his chances, with no offer of the vaccine.

Frustration


Today my wife received a text from our local GP Surgery, inviting her to make an appointment to have the Covid-19 vaccine.

Within 10 minutes, of receiving the text, we had contacted the surgery only to be told that they were not making anymore vaccination appointments.

Apparently there are vaccine supply issues !!!

This is not an auspicious start to the roll out of the vaccine.

Given the accelerated spread of Covid-19 these are scary times. So to be offered the vaccine, then to have it snatched away, is very frustrating.

If our government goes ahead with this relaxation of rules, for “High Value” business travellers, they deserve all the vitriol coming their way.

Covid-19 doesn’t discriminate between rich and poor.

If we are going to truly protect this country then the quarantine rules need to be applied, strictly and fairly, to everyone who travels outside of the UK.

No exceptions.

I am so done with these fucking idiots. I do despair at the selfishness that they display..

If they want to put themselves at risk that’s their business.

But, by their actions, they risk infecting everyone around them. OK, they are surrounded by like minded individuals, so who cares if they infecting each other?

But the truth is, it doesn’t end there. By arranging these mass gatherings they put the emergency services at risk.

Such as the police, who could be doing something more productive with their time, have to monitor / control the marchers.

And, because there is always a rogue element who see a peaceful protest as an opportunity for mayhem, the medics also end up wasting their time on these idiots before transporting them to our already overloaded hospitals.

Selfish. It’s the only way to describe their actions.
