I well remember seeing the 2004 movie “Paper Clips” that has so inspired these pupils and their button collection.
The movie is a documentary about the children of the Whitwell Middle School in Tennessee who try to collect 6 million paper clips representing the 6 million Jews killed by the Nazis. They did this whilst studying the Holocaust.
I wish the pupils of Oaklands Catholic School, in Waterlooville, well in their endeavour and hope that the additional publicity that I can gain for them through this post goes to help with their button collection.
Rosberg drove perfectly from the beginning to the end of what turned into the best race of the season. I know that it’s only early days but Wow.
If the rest of the season carries on in this manner we are in for one heck of a ride.

So, next stop Bahrain. The decision to go ahead with this venue is questionable at best but I hope that it goes ahead and is trouble-free.
Jensen Button drove a superb race to take the win at the inaugural F1 race in Melbourne.
With Hamilton coming home in third place, behind Vettel, Maclaren have certainly made a strong opening to their account for the 2012 season.
Hamilton will not be happy, having relinquished his pole /lead position to Button when he got bogged down at the start. Then, courtesy of the safety car, giving up track position to Vettel. Although he showed sufficient pace in the latter stages of the race, he failed to reclaim 2nd place.
The annual Formula 1 circus has gotten off to a great start. All the indicators from todays race are that the 2012 season is going to be very interesting.
