Hamilton Fuel Line Problems

Leaky fuel line has caused Hamilton to delay his arrival on the grid. This will severely limit his preparation time. However, this is better than the alternative of starting from the pit lane after all the hard work put in this weekend.

Webbers F1 Woes

Once again Mark Webber is suffering from an attack of the gremlins. His KERS system let him down during qualifying hence his position on the grid. So yet again he has an uphill task in todays GP. Good luck Mark.

Go The Brits

Just watching the F1 coverage of the Chinese GP. Tension building as the start approaches. Button and Hamilton are well placed to knock the young upstart, Vettel, from his leading position in the competition. Or at least close the gap. So rooting for both of them.

All The Best Jackie

Former F1 World Champion Jackie Stewart was taken ill during a flight from Geneva last night.

The word is that he is being kept in hospital for checks.

Best wishes Jackie. Get well soon.

Bahrain GP Cancelled

To say that I am disappointed that the Bahrain F1 GP has been cancelled would be a bit of an understatement.

It’s OK for all you football fans, the season never really ends any more. There is football available on the TV 365 days a year. OK so some of it isn’t British football but it is there for you to watch.

For F1 fans there is nothing from the end of one season to the next.

And now, just when the F1 juices have started to flow with the Bahrain race due to run on the 13th March, we are faced with a further two-week delay before the season truly starts.

And before the dissenting voices start beating me up and telling me that human life takes precedence over sport.

I do truly, totally agree. I wish the Bahrain people well and hope that there is no more bloodshed or injuries.

But as a F1 fan it is my right to feel disappointed.

Best Wishes To Renault’s Robert Kubica

Best wishes to Robert Kubica for a swift recovery following his crash on Sunday.

F1 in particular and motor Sport in general needs this mans talent. With the F1 season due to start in a few weeks an essential element of spice is going to be missing from the mix.

Thank You Pompey, Well Done Brighton

Brighton & Hove Albion - The Seagulls

3 – 1

Pompey’s season hit a low as they crashed out of the FA Cup after a 3-1 loss at Brighton.”

3 – 1

Brightons win at the weekend has given me oodles of gloating rights, surrounded as I am by Pompey supporters. Down here where I live in Hampshire there is only one thing a Pompey supporter hates slightly less than a Southampton supporter and that’s a Brighton supporter.

3 – 1

I can take the hate …… So excuse me while I gloat away …….

3 – 1

Fly Seagulls Fly

Brighton & Hove Albion

Good luck for tomorrow in your match against Pompey.

I’m not a footy supporter but I always relish the chance to wind up the Pompey supporters that surround me.

Make me proud.

Go England Go

I’m not a cricket fan but way to go the England Cricket Team.

Congratulations to all involved. Let the party commence.

And I’d like to thank the team for giving me the ammunition to really wind up my Australian rellies. On my many trips down under they have never given me any peace about how crap we are on the international sports stage.

Well now its pay back time.

A BLOKE walks into a brothel and says, ”I’m a bit kinky, how much for total humiliation?”
”$60,” the madam replies.
”Wow, what do I get for that?” the bloke asks.
”A baggy green cap and an Australia cricket shirt,” she says.
