One thing I learned recently is that no matter how hard you try, you cannot provide help to someone who doesn’t recognise that there is a problem. That it is painful when someone you love is going off the rails and won’t talk to you. When that person is oblivious to the ripple effect of their actions and the pain that they are causing to their family.
